Klamath Falls Gems News Release
The Klamath Falls Gems have named Dustin Howell Director of Marketing for the team. Dustin, a local resident of Klamath Falls, will immediately assume the role and begin preparations for the 2014 Season. "My first priority will be to meet with all the Gems' sponsors and together create a vision and synergy that will lead us into next season," said Howell. "Renewal of marketing agreements and creating new partnerships will be my focus. In addition, I plan to increase the Gems' base of season ticket holders and give the team a strong foundation to grow from. This is a community team and my plan is to have everyone involved. There is nothing better than enjoying a baseball game with family. It's time like this that I still remember from my childhood and will not forget. My hope is to provide these same memories for all families in the Basin. This will be the Gems' best season yet," concluded Howell.
Dustin's wife, Jessica, will also be assuming a role with the team providing administrative assistance in the office. "Dustin and I want this to be a community experience, bring us your ideas so as an organization we can discuss them and implement as many as possible. The Gems provide great family entertainment for little cost and I'm excited and proud to be a part of this team," said Jessica.
"Dustin and Jessica will become the local presence for the Gems and will occupy the team's World Headquarters at Kiger Stadium," said Lisa Walker interim General Manager for the club. "They are knowledgeable about the team and its history, they have relationships with key people in the community, and they have a great vision for the Gems' future and are passionate for the club's success," concluded Walker.
