Game-Worn Jersey Sale Begins December 1

(Bridgeport, CT - Nov. 20, 2008) - The holidays are right around the corner and the Bluefish would like to help you find that perfect gift. The team is giving you the opportunity to purchase a unique present this year; whether it's for a significant other, a friend or even yourself.

The Bridgeport Bluefish today announced that on Monday, December 1, 2008 all of the team's game-worn jerseys will be going on sale. Fans, you could own the uniform of former Major League great Tommy John or even Bluefish single-season home run record holder Jesse Hoorelbeke. Each team member has only a select amount of jerseys up for sale, making supplies limited. Make sure to act fast to secure your favorite Bluefish uniform!

The team's home white, road gray and navy mesh batting practice uniforms will be up for sale starting at 9 a.m. Fans can purchase these exclusive game-worn jerseys by calling 203-416-1712, sending an email to kball@bridgeportbluefish.com or by visiting The Ballpark at Harbor Yard. These items may be purchased by cash or credit and will be sold on a first-come, first-serve basis. Jerseys will be on display in the lobby of the executive offices at The Ballpark at Harbor Yard and fans are encouraged to stop by to view these unique pieces of game-used memorabilia. Each game-worn jersey costs only $75 and can be picked up at The Ballpark at Harbor Yard or will be mailed with an additional shipping fee. Sizes range from large to XXL.
