Syracuse Silver Knights News Release

Syracuse, NY--The Syracuse Silver Knights (6-11) travel to Milwaukee (12-2) on Sunday for a game against the league-leading Wave at U.S. Cellular Arena. The Silver Knights hope to rebound from a tough 33-12 loss to Missouri on Wednesday. Syracuse's only other game against Milwaukee was a narrow 15-12 loss on Friday, January 13.

The Silver Knights are winless in their last five games, but three of those games were decided by three points or fewer. They hope to be able to use that to their advantage against the Wave, who were held to nine points in a win against Wichita last Saturday.

Led by Jeff Hughes (19 goals) and Cory Elenio (11 assists), the Silver Knights will be facing one of the league's leading goalkeepers. Teams playing against Marcel Feenstra have scored an average of only 9.44 goals on him, good for second in the league. Nick Vorberg is third in the league with an average of 9.55 goals scored against him.

The game can be seen live on MISLLiveSoccer.com at 4:00 PM EST, and the @CUSEKnightsMISL Twitter feed will be live-tweeting the game.

After the game against the Wave, the Silver Knights will have an extended rest to prepare for the final six games of the season, beginning with the February 9 game against Norfolk at home at the War Memorial at Oncenter.
