Tonight... The Blades begin a 3-in-3 road trip in Alberta with their 2ndand final visit in Red Deer of the season. Both teams come into the contest with the same record and tied for 2ndplace in the Eastern Conference. Both teams are also coming off losses on Wednesday night. Saskatoon will also have a new addition to their offense as 19-year-old Gary Haden joins the team tonight after being acquired yesterday from the Medicine Hat Tigers in exchange for Logan Christensen.

Head to head... Red Deer holds a slight edge in the season series with one win and an overtime loss. The Blades lost their first trip to Red Deer 5-4 on October 2ndand the beat the Rebels 3-2 in overtime at SaskTel Centre on October 12th. The Blades will need to tighten up on the PK, it sits at 66% in the season series vs RD. Jeff deWit and Brandon Hagel each have 4 points in the series, as do Kirby Dach and Dawson Davidson.

The last game...Nolan Maier made 28 saves in a 3-0 shutout loss on Wednesday to the Everett Silvertips in Saskatoon. It was the first time the Blades have been shutout this season. Meanwhile, the Rebels are coming off a 4-1 loss in Medicine Hat to the Tigers, also on Wednesday night.
