Brandon, MB. - Applebee's Brandon, in association with the Western Hockey League's Brandon Wheat Kings are pleased to announce plans for the 2018 Tip a Wheat King Night, scheduled for Tuesday, November 13th.
Applebee's has also announced that eight members of the hockey club will be turning in their sticks and skates for dinner plates and wine glasses between 4:30 - 8:30 pm.
Leading the Wheat Kings' contingent this season will be captain Stelio Mattheos and overage veteran Linden McCorrister. Mattheos currently leads the Wheat Kings in scoring with twelve goals and 20 points in 12 games while McCorrister is in his fourth and final WHL season.

In addition to having the opportunity to meet and mingle with members of the WHL club, fans attending the event will have a chance to win some terrific prizes, including Wheat Kings' merchandise.
All tips received on November 13th will be donated to the Western Manitoba Cancer Centre, in recognition of this year's Movember campaign.
The Western Manitoba Cancer Center was developed in joint partnership with Cancer Care Manitoba and Prairie Mountain Health to provide cancer care services to the Western part of Manitoba and Eastern Saskatchewan. The center combines expertise from both organizations with a network of care providers working together to provide cancer treatments closer to home.
The Movember campaign is a global charity committed to men living happier, healthier, longer lives. Since 2003, millions have joined the men's health movement, funding over 1,000 programs.
