Sunday's game is the first of two battles for first place in the XSL. Detroit and Milwaukee, both tied for first with an 8-6 record, play each other twice in six days - the second match is next Friday, March 20 at Compuware Arena. These two teams have been neck and neck for two consecutive seasons; both finished the 2007-08 season with a 22-8 mark, but Detroit held the tie-breaker and won the regular season title.
