Been Here Once Before
San Antonio FC has advanced to the Western Conference Semifinals for the second time in team history and the first time since 2017. That year, SAFC tied OKC Energy FC 1-1 through 120 minutes before being eliminated on penalty kicks. In the 2020 season, SAFC advanced to the Western Conference Quarterfinals before falling to New Mexico. Should they win Saturday, SAFC would play for its first trophy in team history and for its first opportunity to go to a USL Championship.
Clean Sheet Streak
With the 2-0 playoff win over San Diego Loyal SC, San Antonio FC has now kept three straight clean sheets in all competitions for the first time since the 2017 season. The last time the club kept at least three straight shutouts came when they recorded clean sheets in four straight matches from 5/20-6/10/17. SAFC will look to build on the 180 straight minutes of shutout soccer this weekend against RGV FC. In the 20 overall meetings between the two sides, SAFC has kept four clean sheets with the last coming on 7/25/20.

All-time Series: SAFC has faced RGV FC 20 times in regular season play, although Saturday marks the first time the two have met in the postseason. SAFC is 7-6-7 all-time against the Toros, including a 3-2-5 record at Toyota Field. The Alamo City club is unbeaten in its last seven home matches against RGV, going 3-0-4 in those contests.
