First Impressions: San Antonio hosts Hartford Athletic for the first time ever, due to the USL Championship's expanded interconference play. Hartford enters at 3-13-4 with 13 points, last in the Eastern Conference.
Tani For MVP: Forward Tani Oluwaseyi has been dominant in his first 10 matches with SAFC, already leading the team in both goals (9) and assists (5) while sitting just 10th on the team in minutes played (830). Oluwsaeyi sits just one goal shy of the league lead, despite taking the 28th-most shots. The forward is also tied for second in the league lead in assists.

What they had to say:
Defender Connor Maloney
(On what he saw on the field against Miami last week...)
"There was a lot of learning opportunity in that game. Now it's past us. Now we focus on Hartford and take those learning opportunities and implement them into this game. I think it's super important that we bounce back, and knowing this group we will. We have the right mentality, especially this week in training it's been great. So, just got to carry that over into Hartford and play our game. Start fast, finish strong."
Forward Justin Dhillon
(On taking positives from last week's loss ...)
"Obviously it was a performance that I don't think anyone on the team was proud of. And Alen holds us to a very high standard, so when it comes to taking the lessons to learn, we really go after it during the week. And this was a very tough week. So I think all the guys are locked in, we're prepared, we know that there's no easy games in this league and we've got to take each one with full force."
