Pearl, MS -- The Mississippi Braves win over the Carolina Mudcats in game four of the Southern League Championship Series Friday night forced a series-deciding game five Saturday night at Trustmark Park at 7:05 ct. The M-Braves will send lefty Johnny Venters to the hill against Carolina's game-one starter, Willie Glen. Mississippi has defeated Glen the last two times they have faced him.

After 140 regular season games, the Southern League Divisional Series and four games in the SLCS, the Southern League Championship will come down to one game between the M-Braves and Mudcats.

Every fan through the gates Saturday night will receive a free foam tomahawk to cheer the M-Braves to a championship.

In the wake of Hurricane Gustav, Tropical Storm Fay, Tropical Storm Hanna and the impending landfall of Hurricane Ike, the M-Braves will be a drop-off location for fans wishing to donate to the American Red Cross.

The Braves will be collecting bottled water, bottled or canned drinks, new blankets, new pillows, new towels, new sheets, new wash cloths, new hand towels, toothbrushes, toothpaste, shampoo and deodorant. Interested fans are also encouraged to donate other personal hygiene items and children's toys. Donations can be made at each Braves playoff game.

Playoff tickets can be purchased in person at the Trustmark Park ticket office, the Mississippi Coliseum, Be-Bop Records in Jackson and Vicksburg, all Ticketmaster locations, online at www.mississippibraves.com or www.ticketmaster.com, or by phone at 601-932-8788. Fans can also call Ticketmaster to place their orders at 601-355-5252. There will be a $5 fee for all phone orders through the Braves ticket office.
