Palm Beach Cardinals News Release

The Palm Beach Cardinals are looking to start the season strong in their home opener against the St. Lucie Mets on April 2, 2026.

The two teams met for the last time in the 2025 season for a six-day series at the end of August in Jupiter, FL. The Mets took four out of the six games and would eventually go on to compete in the first round of Florida State League playoffs, falling to the Daytona Tortugas.

The Cardinals ended the season last year with a 63-67 record, with their longest winning streak occurring against the Jupiter Hammerheads from July 20th to July 24th. Palm Beach saw strength in their hitting, with Rainiel Rodriguez, Deniel Ortiz, and Josh Kross paving the way. They also saw strength in their bullpen with Braden Davis, Liam Doyle, and Christian Worley while also having alumni Quinn Mathews, Tink Hence, and Chen-Wei Lin make rehab appearances throughout the season.
