Three second period goals for the Green Bay Gamblers pushed them to a 3-1 win against the Waterloo Black Hawks at Young Arena Saturday.

The lone Black Hawk goal was scored by George Hughes, just 41 seconds into the game, deflecting in off of a Gambler.

Jefferson Dahl tied the game during a Gambler power play 1:16 into the second period. Green Bay went ahead at 9:50 on a Reed Seckel goal during a pile up in the crease. Mike Forney found the net with a shot under the crossbar at 12:44.

Penalty minutes piled up in the third, with 17 infractions stacking up for 58 minutes.

The Hawks and Gamblers won't wait long for a rematch; they will play again Friday at the Resch Center in Green Bay.
