
Gamblers Fall in Another Shootout on Ace's Birthday

The Green Bay Gamblers hit the ice with the Youngstown Phantoms in a Sunday afternoon game for Ace's Birthday. For the second game in a row, the game ended in a shootout, finishing with a 2-1 Gambler loss.
Starting the game off slow with no goals from either side in the first or the second periods.
Leading into the third, the Gamblers were down by one goal. With just one second on the clock, Ray Vitolins would bury the buzzer beater with helpers from Barrett Hall & Jayson Shaugabay. Overtime would come next with no goals, leading to a shootout. In the shootout, the Gamblers would score no goals with Youngstown making one, handing Green Bay a 2-1 shootout loss at the Resch Center.
Defensively, Kristoffer Eberly had a game time of 63:06, saving 27 of 28 shots, allowing one goal.
The Gamblers are back at the Resch Center Saturday, April 1 and April 7 and 8 the following weekend. April 1 will be 90's night and April 8 is Wrestling Night with a special appearance from Ted Dibiase. You can get your tickets for both weekends here.
