Jersey G-Force News Release
Paramus, N.J. (Friday, February 17, 2012) - New Jersey's newest professional basketball team, the Jersey G-Force, has formally announced that it has formed a partnership with sports communication firm Resolution Sports. With the alliance, Resolution Sports will handle all communication and social media responsibilities for the G-Force, which is scheduled to tip off for the first time this April in the International Basketball League (IBL).
"Professional sports teams need to incorporate the professionals in social media and communication to deliver their message across a global platform," G-Force owner Tim Butts stated. "Resolution Sports has state-of-the-art communications technology coupled with experience in media and public relations. We are truly looking to make a footprint within the world of international basketball, and we feel Resolution Sports is the perfect communication partner to help us make that happen."
The G-Force was recently added as a branding team for the 2012 IBL season, which is going into its eighth season of operation. The IBL is a professional basketball league showcasing talent from the Unites States, Canada, China and Japan, and the league is dedicated to fostering international basketball talent while focusing on providing family friendly events for fans. The G-Force will play a five-game schedule during its inaugural campaign this year, with a pair of home contests taking place at Bergen County Community College in Paramus, New Jersey.
"Within the first five minutes of speaking with Tim Butts, I quickly sensed his vision for the G-Force was to create a productive and winning organization that the State of New Jersey would be proud to call its own," Resolution Sports President John Archibald remarked. "I instantly knew that the G-Force was a team we wanted to align ourselves, and I am very excited about what the future holds for this partnership. The ball may not tip off until April, but we are already full steam ahead on making sure this branding season is a complete success."
