
Fundraiser started for late mother of LA Galaxy Academy's Rey Ortiz

LA Galaxy Academy player Rey Ortiz's mother passed away from lymphoma cancer earlier this week, leaving behind three children. In order to support a formal funeral and burial, fans have rallied to already raise over $4,000 to support this cause.

Ortiz, 18, has represented the LA Galaxy Academy U-15/16's in the U.S. Soccer Developmental Academy. He is committed to play soccer at University of California Berkeley.
