Fulton County Animal Shelter gives Vision cards
January 30, 2007 - American Basketball Association (ABA)
Atlanta Vision News Release
Suwanee, GA. The ABA Atlanta Vision and the Fulton County Animal Shelter (FCAS) have partnered together to provide affordable family entertainment and loving pets to families. FCAS will provide Vision collector sports cards to anyone who adopts a dog or cat at either the Atlanta or Roswell location during the month of February.
Each of the four limited edition cards feature an Atlanta Vision action shot with a positive quote representing the following virtues: Respect, Sportsmanship, Responsibility and Teamwork. On the back of each card, students will receive a free admission to any February Atlanta Vision home game with an adult ticket purchase. Kids and basketball fans alike can collect all four cards and get them autographed at the game.
"Protecting pets and supporting pet adoption is a caring cause in our community," explained Vision Director of Community Outreach Lisa Patterson. "Atlanta Vision is honored to partner with the positive efforts of FCAS."
Fulton County Animal Services will recognize six employees for their heroic efforts to save animals in Hurricane Katrina during the half-time of the Atlanta Vision home game on Saturday, Feb 17th at 730pm.
