March 12, 2009 - Pacific Coast League (PCL1)
Portland Beavers News Release
PORTLAND, Ore. - FSN and the Portland Beavers announced today the complete broadcast schedule for the 2009 season, which includes a slate of 18 Beavers games televised throughout FSN's five-state territory. The Beavers face the Fresno Grizzlies during their first homestand of the season, with the first televised game on FSN airing live from PGE Park on Monday, April 20, at 7 p.m.
The 18-game schedule is a result of a multi-year agreement announced in 2008 between FSN and PGE Park to broadcast Beavers games exclusively throughout the Northwest. The agreement is the largest in the team's history and, as it enters its second year, will include matchups against the Northwest-rival Tacoma Rainiers on June 15, a back-to-back divisional battle against the Colorado Springs Sky Sox on July 4-5, and a visit from the 2008 PCL-champion Sacramento River Cats on Aug. 3.
Portland Beavers broadcaster Rich Burk will provide the play-by-play action and will be joined by color analyst Scott Anderson for the entire 18-game schedule live on FSN. Below is the complete 2009 Portland Beavers television schedule on FSN:
