
Frostbite release 2005-06 schedule

Glens Falls, NY - The Adirondack Frostbite today have released their schedule for the 2005-06 season, it was announced by Frostbite General Manager Damon Markiewicz. The Frostbite will play 57 games against the Eastern Division, including 16 games against the Danbury Trashers, 15 versus the Elmira Jackals, 14 against the Richmond RiverDogs and 12 versus the Roanoke Valley Vipers. The Frostbite open the season Friday, October 21st at Richmond, and play their home opener Saturday, October 22nd against Richmond. Home start times will be announced at a later date.
The Frostbite have a very favorable schedule this season as 30 of the 38 home games are on the weekend. Adirondack has eleven Friday evening dates, eleven Saturday games and eight on Sunday. The Frostbite's remaining eight home games are on six Wednesday's and two Tuesday's. The Frostbite also have home games on the night before Thanksgiving and New Year's Eve.
The Frostbite will face every team in the league at least once, but will not face Flint or Fort Wayne at home. Danbury, Richmond and Roanoke will each visit the Glens Falls Civic Center seven times, while Elmira will visit eight. The Frostbite's longest home stand runs from December 3rd through December 10th, when the team plays four games in eight days. The Frostbite's longest road trip has four games in nine days from March 17th through March 25th.
Season Tickets for the 2005-06 season are on sale now at the Frostbite front office located at the Glen Street entrance of the Glens Falls Civic Center. Tickets may be purchased at the office between 9AM and 6PM Monday through Thursday and from 9AM to 5PM Friday or by calling 926-PUCK.
