South Burlington, VT - The Vermont Frost Heaves are pleased to announce the signing of 3 additional players for their 2008/2009 Premier Basketball League roster.
Thomas Sanders, a do-everything, versatile Guard that started all 30 games and made big plays in all facets of the game for a Gardner-Webb team that shocked the nation his senior year throttling Kentucky in Kentucky where Thomas put up 21 and 10 rebounds. Only one of two players in Nation to average a double-double the entire year. He participated in the Indiana Pacers pre-draft workout camp in June 2008. Thomas was born July 3, 1985 and hails from Sugar, Texas.
Chris Gaynor, a 5'10" Point Guard who graduated from Winthrop University in 2008 where in his senior season he played in 34 games and averaged 9.9 points per game and 4.1 assists per game. He shot 44% from the field during his senior year and averaged 43.4% from 3 point land. Chris is a native of Winston Salem, NC and he was born April 4, 1986.
Greg Stevenson, a very consistent guard that shows a bit of everything, shooting, athleticism, and teamwork. A graduate of Richmond University in 2001, he has played extensively in Europe and the US with his last stop in the US with the CBA Champion Yakima Sun Kings in 2007. He has played in the NBDL and the USBL and was the Dutch player of the year on 2005. Greg was born on February 10, 1986 and hails from Goldsboro, NC.
