Kalamazoo Kings News Release
KALAMAZOO - The Frontier League Championship Series between the Kalamazoo Kings and the Windy City Thunderbolts has been moved to Windy City for the entire series. Homer Stryker Field is submerged by two and half feet of water due to the Kalamazoo River overflow and will be unplayable for at least a week.
The series will begin with Game One on Tuesday September 16, 2008 at Standard Bank Stadium in Crestwood, IL. The series will be played every night starting at 8:05 PM EDT.
Any tickets purchased for Games One or Two will be valid for any championship game in Windy City or any Kings home game next season and there will be no refunds.
