Friendly against Sporting Kc II at Werner Park Presented by FNBO

Union Omaha announced today that it will host Sporting KC II for a preseason friendly, presented by FNBO, at Werner Park on Saturday, April 17 at 2 p.m.

"We're thrilled to welcome Sporting KCII to Werner Park and test ourselves against such a strong team," said General Manager, Peter Marlette. "It is sure to be a great day at the park for our fans and the perfect tune up for our players before the League One season begins."

Omaha-native, Ozzie Cisneros, who signed his first professional contract with Sporting KC, may appear on the field in his hometown for the first-time ever as a professional.

Tickets for this friendly and the home opener, which will take place Saturday, April 24, against South Georgia Tormenta FC, are now available for purchase online at tickets.unionomaha.com, by calling the Ticket Office at 402.738.5100 or in person from Monday through Friday and match days starting at noon to 5 p.m. The Ticket Office will open at 10 a.m. for the single-match tickets on sale Thursday, March 25.

A full schedule is available at unionomaha.com and on the club's mobile app. All regular-season games will broadcast on ESPN+.

Werner Park will operate under limited capacity until further notice. COVID -19 protocols for Werner Park may change throughout the season as vaccines become available to everyone. Different from last year, fans will be required to always wear a mask unless actively eating or drinking at their ticketed seats.
