
Friday's Doubleheader Between Mets and Cubs Washed Out

DAYTONA, Fla. - Friday's scheduled doubleheader between the St. Lucie Mets and Daytona Cubs was washed out due to more storms and unplayable field conditions at Jackie Robinson Ballpark.
Due to back-to-back postponements, the teams will now have to play doubleheaders on Saturday and Sunday to try to complete the four-game series.
Game 1 of Saturday's doubleheader is set for 5:05 p.m. Game 2 will follow approximately 30 minutes later. Both are scheduled for seven innings.
On Sunday, game 1 is slated to begin at 5:05 p.m. Again, game 2 will start roughly 30 minutes later. Both games are set for seven innings.
