Casper, WY - The Casper Rockies are canceling the final fireworks show that was scheduled to be held Friday, September 1st following the game versus the Ogden Raptors.
Due to the recent wildfires on Casper Mountain and the red flag days for the remainder of the week, the Casper Fire Department could not issue a permit for the show. Therefore, the final fireworks night of the season has been canceled. However, some great promotions still remain on the calendar for the final home stand of the 2006 season.
Awful night is slated for Friday night with awful giveaways and awful food all night long in the concessions stand. There will also be cash giveaways throughout the night with a grand prize of $250 given out at the end of the game. The beer batter strikes out all night long with $2 beer at the concession stand.
Saturday night is Pack the Park Night where fans can purchase tickets at the gate for only $5.00 a piece. The Family Night Packs will be back again for Sunday afternoon's game and the final Burger King Kids Run The Bases following the game. The final game of the season is slated for Monday night and is Fan Appreciation Night with giveaways all night long.
