Friday Is Youth Sports Night at Athlete Institute A's Host Island Storm

March 30, 2016 - National Basketball League of Canada (NBL Canada) - Orangeville A's News Release

A's fans, we want to thank you for coming out last weekend and celebrating Easter Sunday with us. Our Easter themed game was a great success!

This Friday, April 1st we are back at it again, hosting Youth Sports Night! Come on out Friday night (tipoff at 7:00 PM) wearing your local team's gear and get in for just 5 dollars! What could be better than supporting your Orangeville A's as well as your local club?

Despite their struggles as of late, Orangeville has competed hard and been right there at the end of games. The A's have not been able to capitalize in the final minutes and have found themselves on the losing end of several very close games. Surely Friday night's affair will not disappoint as the A's head into battle against the Island Storm at the Athlete Institute Fieldhouse.

This will be the second time the two teams meet this season. The first matchup saw the A's fall in Charlottetown, PEI, by a final score of 106-95. The A's are looking for some revenge this time around and aim to even up the season series at one game a piece. The A's are currently 8-22, while the Island Storm sit at 10-19. It is sure to be a hard-nosed, tough game between the two teams, as both teams are looking to gain momentum as the end of the season quickly approaches.

We look forward to seeing you all at the game this Friday at 7:00 PM. Get your tickets early! And don't forget to wear your local club team's gear to get in for just $5!
