Friday Fright Night Kicks off Back-to-Back Weekend

INDIANAPOLIS, IN- The Indianapolis Ice is preparing for a back-to-back weekend with the Odessa Jackalopes, starting with a costume party during Friday night's 7:00 p.m. game at the Pepsi Coliseum.

The "fright night" festivities on Friday will include several events throughout the contest. The Ice is hosting its own version of Survivor, as fans in Halloween costumes will be selected and cast off throughout the game. Towards the conclusion of the game, all fans in attendance will select the ultimate Halloween Survivor by voting for the person that they feel has the best or most original Halloween costume.

Anyone dressed in costume will receive reduced ticket prices. For fans dressed in Halloween fare, tickets normally priced at $15 will be $10, while tickets normally at $10 will sell for $6. In addition, anyone named Michael Myers, Sammy Terry, Freddie Krueger, Jason Voorhees, Elvira, or has the last name Munster get in free.

There will be a pre-game "Safe Night Halloween Party" at the South Pavilion in the Indiana State Fairgrounds between 5-7 p.m. Kids 12 and under can enjoy the event for free as long as they are accompanied by an adult. Each kid will receive one free ticket voucher for Friday's Ice game in his or her goody bags.

Saturday's 7:00 p.m. game between the Ice and Jackalopes will be the first of four regular season games played at the Conseco Fieldhouse this season. The game is a College Night, as any student with a college ID can purchase tickets for $14, $9, or $6.
