Fresno Heatwave to hold free agent camp

Fresno, CA. Angelia Green, Operations Manager for the ABA Fresno Heatwave professional basketball team, today announced that the team will be holding a tryout camp in Madera, CA just north of Fresno on August 21 @ 22. "There are a lot of talented and skilled basketball players here in the Central Valley and California that are undiscovered and we are excited about what we will see," said Green. "Not to mention the nationwide and worldwide talen that has voiced an interest to tryout for this team. The HeatWave will definitely be "Bringin' the Heat" this season."

The camp will be held at Liberty High School, 12220 Road 36 Madera, CA 93638. Cost of the camp is $125 before August 18th and $150 from Aug 19-21. There will be limited spots available for this camp. Registration form can be obtained from the website, www.heatwave.com or by calling the team office at (559) 225-4328. Former NBA Star and HeatWave Coach Johnny Moore will be conducting the camp. "The roster for this team is wide open and there will be contracts available," added Coach Moore. "But it is going to be very competitive.
