Frenzy vs. Frenzy at the GSPABL

Cape Cod Frenzy News Release
Springfield, Massachusetts: The Cape Cod Frenzy make their summer league debut tonight in the Greater Springfield Pro Am Basketball League (GSPABL) at 7:45 at the Dunbar Community Center. The Frenzy will duel against two key members of the Frenzy's '06-07 ABA squad: Raheim Lamb and Jamaal Brooks! Lamb and Brooks are playing for the Cover Technologies Boston team, which won the GSPABL championship last season.
The Frenzy have added some new faces to their summer league team including 6'5 NBA draft candidate Dwight Brewington (Providence and Liberty), 5'10 dynamo Derek Coleman (Robert Morris), 6'11 center Souleymane Wane (UConn), 6'10 center/power forward Modibo Diarra (Memphis), and 6'11 center Mike Commane. They hope their size advantage will overwhelm the defending champions.
"It's a lot of fun seeing these guys and playing against them because they always bring it" explained Frenzy coach Heath Teixeira.
In addition, the Cape Cod Frenzy are suiting up three local Cape Cod players to give them some experience: Adam Rose (Harwich HS and Bridgewater State), Derek Thompson (Barnstable HS and Bridgewater State), and Brendan Grogan (Nauset Regional HS and CCRI).
