
Freedom coach and players named to UIF All-Star team

The United Indoor Football Association (UIF) announced the 2005 All-Stars awards for their inaugural season and the Fort Wayne Freedom was well represented. Nominations from each head coach was received and tallied to determine the 2005 All-Stars.
Leading the Freedom to a 14-2 regular season record, Midwest Division Champions and a #1 seed in the playoffs, head coach Matt Land received Coach of the Year honors. The 14-win season was the best in team history.
Freedom quarterback Bryan White was named the 2005 Most Improved Player. During the 2005 season he passed for 1,633 yards, averaging 125.6 yards a game. White completed 153 passes in 258 attempts, 35 of those passes were for touchdowns.
Named to the First Team All-UIF squad from the Freedom was wide receiver Jeremy Dutcher and on defensive line Rachman Crable. Rocky Harvey was selected as running back on the Second Team All-UIF squad.
