Free Scrimmage Set for Friday, February 25; Super Suite Season Ticket Giveaway to Take Place

NEW ORLEANS (February 18, 2011) - Are you curious about Arena Football Want to learn more about the game Well come see it for FREE on Friday, February 25 at 7 p.m. in the New Orleans Arena as the New Orleans VooDoo will host the Dallas Vigilantes in a controlled scrimmage.
Admission to the event is completely FREE! That's right, your eyes are not playing tricks on you, nor are you reading it wrong. This is an open admissions scrimmage that will not cost you and your family a dime to get in.
"We want to give our fans a chance to see the team, and to get re-energized about the resurrection of the VooDoo. This is definitely an exciting time as our team begins training camp, and sets its sights on the home opener on March 11 versus the Tampa Bay Storm," said Dan Newman, New Orleans VooDoo owner.
The game will also feature a giveaway where one lucky fan will win two super suite season tickets for the entire season - a value over $2,500! As fans come in the doors, they will need to fill out a small notecard for the drawing, which will take place during the scrimmage.
"The super suite is an outstanding deal that includes all the food and beverages you can consume for every game for the entire season. It will be like Christmas in February for one lucky fan who wins the two super suite tickets we are giving away," added Newman.
After the game, the team, VooDoo Dolls and mascots will be available for autographs and photographs on the field for 30 minutes, per league rules.
