Free Live Captains Video to Air on Ustream.tv

Shreveport-Bossier Captains News Release
SHREVEPORT, La. - The Shreveport-Bossier Captains will simulcast video of their 2010 season live on the Web site Ustream.tv, the club announced today. The video will be similar to last season's online video, and is completely free to the public, although there will be occasional ads from Ustream. The audio will come from the Captains radio/streaming internet broadcast, which will still be on the air on Supertalk 1340 KRMD and supertalk1340.com.
"We wanted to make sure that our fans get the best possible look at Captains baseball," the club's VP/General Manager Craig Brasfield said. "Our live video was a big hit last year and I'm very proud to announce that we will be able to bring them video again."
The Captains' channel for live games and archived video can be found at http://www.ustream.tv/channel/shreveport-bossier-captains-baseball or accessed from clicking the Ustream logo on the right side of the Captains' home page at www.sbcaptains.com. Broadcasts will begin approximately 15 minutes before first pitch with the Willis-Knighton pregame show.
The Shreveport-Bossier Captains open the 2010 season in Fort Worth on May 13, and will be on the road for the first series of the year. The home opener is a day-night doubleheader against Pensacola on Tuesday May 18. All games will be broadcast on ESPN Radio, KRMD-1340 AM as well as streaming live on supertalk1340.com.
