
Frank Bartley, Junior Cadougan Earn Player of the Week Honours

The National Basketball League of Canada is pleased to announce that Frank Bartley of the Saint John Riptide has been named Player of the Week for the week ending February 17, 2019. this is the first time a Riptide player has earned Player of the week honours this season.
Bartley, a 6'3" guard who played collegiately at Louisiana-Lafayette, averaged a double-double of 19.3 ppg and 11.3 rpg for the Riptide, helping Saint John win two of three matches to keep their playoff hopes alive.
"Very quietly, Bartley has helped save the Riptide's season and given them a chance for the playoffs," said NBL Canada Director of Statisticis Chuck Miller. "He's also in the Top 10 in scoring average in the NBL, and that's important as the NBL winds into its final weeks of the season."
The National Basketball League of Canada is also pleased to announce that Junior Cadougan has been named Canadian Player of the Week for the week ending February 17, 2019. This is the second time Cadougan has earned Player of the Week honours this season.
Cadougan, a 6'2" guard from played collegiately at Marquette, averaged 21.0 ppg and 7.25 assists per game in four Edge games, including two victories.
"Not only did Cadougan average more than seven assists per game," said NBL Canada Director of Statistics Chuck Miller, "He also led the Edge as the top assist man in all four of those games."
