Fourth edition of Bacon Bits slated for Sunday

Rockford, Ill.- The Rockford IceHogs monthly "Bacon Bits" show will air on Sunday, Jan. 29 at 9 p.m. on FOX 39. The show is hosted by WTVO-TV Channel 17 Sports Director Scott Leber and Sports Reporter Vince Conway.

This month's edition will feature the UHL salary cap and how it works, the IceHogs affiliation with the Milwaukee Admirals and a couple of Hogs in the Admirals lineup, and a behind-the-scenes look at IceHogs Athletic Trainer J.J. Tews and how he works with the players.

"Bacon Bits" will also feature the usual segments like the IceHogs "Fan Feature" and another Hogs player "Hog Tied". The show is the fourth in a series of seven that will air throughout the regular season, ending in April.

Next Home Games: Friday, Feb. 10 vs. Quad City Mallards. Game time is set for 7:05 p.m. The Hogs and Mallards clash once again at the MetroCentre. IceHogs fans can also check out the world famous Zooperstars who will entertain the crowd during the game.

Saturday, Feb. 11 vs. Missouri River Otters. The puck drops at 7:05 p.m. The Hogs and River Otters meet up for the final time at the MetroCentre this season. For tickets to any upcoming IceHogs home game, call (815) 968-5222.
