
UHL All-Star Classic broadcast times announced

LAKE ST. LOUIS, MO--- The United Hockey League (UHL) and Fox Sports Net Midwest (FSN Midwest) announced the television broadcast times for the 2006 UHL All-Star Classic. The tape delay broadcast will air at 7:30 PM CST on Friday, January 27th and again at 8:00 PM CST on Saturday, January 28th. In addition, FSN Detroit will air the game at 11:30 AM EST on Saturday, January 28th.
"The event was a great success and we are thrilled to present the game on FSN," stated Richard Brosal, UHL President/CEO. "The entire FSN Midwest crew put together a fantastic production that will give the viewers a unique look at the event, the game, and the players."
The television broadcast will show the entire game and include access to the UHL All-Stars through in-game interviews. It will also feature audio from players and coaches that were wired for sound.
Dan McLaughlin provides the play-by-play of the game along with Darren Pang as a color analyst. Joel Goldberg conducts rinkside reporting with in-depth player and coach interviews.
McLaughlin works on multiple FSN Midwest telecasts including St. Louis Cardinals (MLB) baseball and St. Louis Blues (NHL) hockey. Pang is a veteran of professional hockey broadcasting and currently works as a color analyst for Phoenix Coyotes (NHL) game telecasts. Goldberg has spent several years as a sports reporter in St. Louis and has been with FSN Midwest since January 2005.

The 2006 UHL All-Star Classic was played on Wednesday, January 25th, 2006. The event was hosted by the Missouri River Otters at the Family Arena in St. Charles, Missouri.
The United Hockey League is celebrating its 15th season. The league is comprised of 14 Member Clubs competing in seven states. The Missouri River Otters are in their seventh season in the UHL and play their home games at the beautiful Family Arena in St. Charles, Missouri.
