
Four Teams Establish New Attendance Records

BOUCHERVILLE, Wednesday, March 24, 2010 - The Quebec Major Junior Hockey League today revealed its final attendance report and the statistics show that four teams set new attendance records: Drummondville (95,310), Quebec (410,981), Shawinigan (109,176) and Victoriaville (82,185). Of note, the Remparts became the first team in Canadian Hockey League history to welcome over 400,000 fans.
Of note, the Shawinigan Cataractes welcomed over 100,000 fans for the first time in franchise history.
Also, the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League got the support of 2,073,425 fans this season, surpassing the two-million mark for the sixth time in League history. Since the League's inaugural season in 1969, more than 45 million fans have enjoyed QMJHL games.
