
Four Players Selected for World Cup QualifiersÃâÃÂ

New York City FC is pleased to confirm that four players have been selected to represent their country in October.
Goalkeeper and Club captain Sean Johnson has been called up to represent the United States Men's National Team, and will be joined on international duty by defensive trio Alex Callens, Maxime Chanot, and Gudi Thórarinsson.
Here's everything you need to know.
Alex Callens
The formidable defender will be hoping he can maintain his place in the starting XI of Ricardo Gareca's side when Peru host Chile on October 7.
From there, Peru will venture abroad to face Bolivia on October 10, and Argentina October 14.

Maxime Chanot
The 31-year-old defender has two games to prepare for with Luxembourg, starting with a visit from Serbia on October 9.
Luxembourg find themselves in a difficult position in their qualification group, and Chanot will be firmly tested when his side take on Portugal on October 12.

Gudi Thórarinsson
Thórarinsson has been enjoying a consistent run of games for his country, and he will hope that can continue when Iceland welcomes Armenia on October 8.
After that, they will prepare for a meeting with Liechtenstein on October 11.

Sean Johnson
The shot-stopper will be preparing for a trio of games as part of Gregg Berhalter's squad, with the first taking place against Jamaica on October 7.
The USMNT will then travel to Panama for a game on October 10, before returning to the U.S. for a game against Costa Rica on October 13.
