Fort Worth Tycoons announce venue and season ticket plans

August 29, 2004 - American Basketball Association (ABA)
Texas Tycoons News Release

Fort Worth, TX. Charles Key, Owner of the ABA Fort Worth Tycoons today announced that the pro basketball team would be playing its home games in WG Thomas Coliseum, 6108 Broadway, Haltom City, TX - about 4 miles from downtown Fort Worth, starting in November. Key stated, "We are excited about the venue; it allows us the best of both worlds. We receive a terrific lease agreement, concessions and parking - all important to the success of the team. We could not have found a better arena partner perhaps other than owning our own arena - and we are thankful to them."

General Manager/Head Coach Steve Tucker added, "The Coliseum is first class and give us an opportunityh to build a fanbase one fan at a time. And believe me, the fans will love the ABA game. It's fast, high scoring, and fun - and affordable."

Michael Senters, VP of Operations concluded, "We are now on point to make a massive move towards Season Ticket sale, Tycoon Time (Entertainment Events) Fast Break Club sale and the like. Incidentally, we plan to have six concert events year round."
