
Fort Worth Adds Depth up Front

FORT WORTH, Texas (February 28) - The Fort Worth Brahmas announced Thursday the additions of forwards Taylor McReynolds and Eric Satim. In conjunction with the signings, the Brahmas placed Cory Schneider on the injured reserve and waived Daniel Barnes.
McReynolds played one game this season for the Idaho Steelheads of the East Coast Hockey League and 44 games for the Augusta RiverHawks of the Southern Professional Hockey League. With Augusta, the 6-foot, 190-pound winger has notched 12 points (nine goals, five assists) and 103 penalty minutes. Before turning pro this season, McReynolds played four years at Rochester Institute of Technology and two seasons before that with the Green Bay Gamblers of the United States Hockey League.
Satim has played in 101 professional games in his career, all with the Knoxville Ice Bears of the SPHL. The Montreal, Quebec native has scored 84 points (27 goals, 57 assists) over that span. This season, Satim ranks fourth in scoring in the SPHL with 47 points (15 goals, 32 assists) in 45 games. The 5-foot-11, 179-pound forward is also tied for eighth in the league with a +16 rating.
The two newest additions to the Brahmas lineup will join the team as it continues its current road trip in Bloomington tomorrow, Friday, March 1. The Brahmas and Blaze face off at 7:05pm at U.S. Cellular Coliseum. Fort Worth then visits the Quad City Mallards Sunday, March 3 at 4:05pm.
The team returns to the NYTEX Sports Centre Wednesday, March 6 at 7:00pm to host the Wichita Thunder on Beer League Night. The Brahmas will wear specialty jerseys that will be auctioned off immediately following the game.
