
Fort Wayne's Colin Chaulk named UHL Best Defensive Forward

LAKE ST. LOUIS, MO--- The United Hockey League (UHL) announced Friday that Fort Wayne center Colin Chaulk has been named the 2005-06 UHL Best Defensive Forward as selected by league head coaches, general managers, and members of the media.
The 29-year-old Toronto, Ontario native led his team with 79 points (26g, 53a) during the regular season, which also ranked 18th in the UHL. He registered a plus-17 rating in 66 games played. He netted five shorthanded goals and five game-winning goals. Chaulk was also selected to the 2006 UHL All-Star Classic in January.
It is the third season that Chaulk has earned UHL Best Defensive Forward honors and the fourth straight season that a member of the Fort Wayne Komets has won the award.
