HARTFORD, CT - The Hartford Colonials of the United Football League have released the following players from the roster:
WR Chris Davis, Florida State
OL Marcus Johnson, Mississippi
DE Ayanga Okpokowuruk, Duke
OT Adam Tadisch, North Dakota State
S Robert Vaughn, Connecticut
DL Charles Young, Hampton
The Colonials roster is at 59 players. Team rosters must be reduced to 52 by Thursday, Sept. 9.
The Colonials open the season Sept. 18 against Sacramento at Rentschler Field in East Hartford. Kickoff is 2:30 pm. To purchase tickets, call 860-718-0141.
