
Former Riverhawk Returns To The Nest

Quad City Riverhawks News Release
Davenport, IA- The Quad City Riverhawks Head Coach LaTroy Farrow is happy to announce that the team has resigned G Lonnie Randolph. Randolph was a 2007 ABA All-Star for the Riverhawks and was a late training camp cut this season. Randolph appeared in the Quad Cities against the Riverhawks on January 26th as a member of the Dallas Defenders. He led Dallas with 26 points, 9 rebounds and 9 assists. He played college ball for the Drake University Bulldogs.
To make room for Randolph on the roster, the Riverhawks released G Chauncy Jones.
Bounce Passes:
- Riverhawks General Manager Eric Hutchins announced today that one fan will have the opportunity to compete in the "$10,000 Pick a Spot Shot" contest when the Riverhawks take on the Arkansas Impact this Friday, February 29th. One fan will have the opportunity to make two shots from one spot on the basketball floor. If they are successful they will win $10,000. Tip off is at 7:00 PM at Moline's historic Wharton Field House.
- The Quad City Riverhawks would like to thank Rockridge High School for their hospitality and all the fans that attend this past Saturday's game against the Chicago Throwbacks. Almost $700 was raised through the sales of 50/50 tickets and mini basketballs and donated to the family of Brandon Ballard to offset medical cost in his fight against cancer. Thank you to everyone who purchased their tickets and mini basketballs!
