
Former IceRays Standing out in the USHL

CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS - Former members of the Corpus Christi IceRays are making big impressions around the USHL. Pheonix Copley, member of the Tri-City Storm, and last year's IceRays goaltender, was named Reebok USHL Goaltender of the Week.
Colton Saucerman had a memorable debut on opening night in the USHL. Saucerman scored a power play goal that was the game winner 9:44 into the first period in a 2-0 win for the Lincoln Stars.
Last year for the IceRays, Copley went 14-23 in net while maintaining a .880 save percentage and goals against average of 4.17. In Copley's first start for the Tri-City Storm, he posted a 28 save shutout in a 1-0 win over Sioux City.
Colton Saucerman played 39 games last year for Corpus Christi recording 8 goals and 26 assists.
The IceRays are home tonight and tomorrow night as they host the Amarillo Bulls. Puck drops at 7:05PM, coverage begins at 6:50PM with the IceRays Pregame Show on ESPN Radio 1440AM.
