
Former Erie Explosion Players Prepare for AFL Playoffs

(Erie, PA)- As the road to Arena Bowl XXV begins this week, two former Erie Explosion players will be a part of the chase for the title. 2011 Quarterback Adam DiMichele is currently on the roster of the Eastern Conference top seed Philadelphia Soul. The Soul will face off with the New Orleans Voodoo and former Explosion LB Andre Mathis on Saturday night in the first round of the playoffs. Both players were members of the Erie Explosion 2011 Northern Division Championship Team. These two players headline a group of 9 former players with Erie ties who have signed Arena Football League or Canadian Football League contracts over the past year following their time with the Explosion.
