San Diego Seals News Release
The San Diego Seals announced today that the team has signed former NFL player Tim Semisch to a one-year contract, pending league approval.
"Tim is a big, strong former NFL player that knows what it takes to be an elite athlete," said general manager and head coach Patrick Merrill. "He's passionate about lacrosse and very committed to the process of transitioning from pro football to the NLL which is no easy feat. We are excited to see him compete for a spot at training camp."
Semisch, 27, impressed scouts and coaches at the National Lacrosse League combine in Denver, CO in July. He spent five seasons in the NFL with the Dolphins, Chargers, Titans and Broncos before retiring in December. The 6-8, 275-pound defenseman was a four-time letterman in lacrosse in high school.
The 2019-20 San Diego Seals will begin play in December at Pechanga Arena San Diego. Place your season ticket membership deposit today at SealsLax.com.
