Former Alabama Coach Joe Kines to Speak on Steeldogs Faith Night

Birmingham, Ala. - Former University of Alabama Football Coach Joe Kines will speak at the Alabama Steeldogs 2007 Faith Night this Saturday at the BJCC Arena.

Kines will give an inspirational message on his faith immediately following the Steeldogs' game against in-state rival Tennessee Valley. A devout Christian, Kines football career spans over three decades. He most recently served as the Defensive Coordinator for the Crimson Tide football team from 2003-2006.

"Coach Kines is a man of great character and faith," Steeldogs Managing Partner Scott Myers said. "We are very grateful that he is willing to share his faith with our fans at this weekend's game."

The Steeldogs are inviting local churches to bring groups to the game enjoy a great night of football and fellowship. Churches can purchase discounted group tickets in advance for Faith Night through the Steeldogs' front office. Call 458-8833 for more information or to purchase group tickets for your church.

The Steeldogs kick off against Tennessee Valley at 7 p.m. Doors for the game open at 6 p.m.
