New York, NY. Former ABA Long Beach Jam and Harlem Strong Dogs point guard, Kazuyuki Nakagawa, is featured on the website of SLAM Magazine as he continues his quest to play in the NBA. The article is part of a new column on SLAMonline called "Too Real for the League," written by Matt Caputo.

"Too Real for the League" is an attempt to tell stories about basketball's existence outside of the NBA. A Queens NY native and Strong Island Sound supporter, Matt Caputo has written about hoops for SLAM, Hoop, Dime, The L (BK/NYC) and as the former Assistant Editor of ProBasketballNews.com. His brother, Chris Caputo, is an assistant coach at George Mason University, where he coached Vermont Frost Heaves forward, Kevin Mickens. "Too Real for the League" is an effort to give a voice to the basketball community at large.
