
Forecast Has Thunder in Rhinos Future

(Rochester, NY).....The Rochester Rhinos will remain on the road this weekend when they travel to the National Sports Center to battle the Minnesota Thunder on Saturday, June 27 at 8:35 p.m. in Blaine, MN. The second meeting of the year between the two sides, the first ended in a scoreless draw at Marina Auto Stadium on June 6.
The Rhinos improved their record to 5-5-2 on the season on Sunday with a 2-0 defeat of the Austin Aztex in the first ever meeting against the expansion club. The win for the Rhinos snapped a four game winless streak. The Thunder continue to reside in last place in the USL First Division table with a 1-6-4 record and are coming off a 5-1 loss on the road in Portland.
Rochester currently stands in fifth place, one point ahead of the Miami FC Blues in the table. They trail fourth place Portland by six points and table leader Puerto Rico by eight points. The Rhinos will welcome the return of forward Tai Atieno who was on recall to the Kenyan National Team. Atieno did not appear for Kenya in their 2-1 win over Mozambique on Saturday but was available for selection.
