
Ford Undergoes Successful Surgical Procedure

Auburn Hills, MI - Detroit Shock announced today that forward Cheryl Ford underwent a successful surgical procedure performed by Dr. Steve Lemos to reconstruct a right knee ACL tear. The procedure was performed at the Detroit Medical Center Surgery Hospital.
The 6-foot-3 forward suffered the season-ending injury at home versus Los Angeles on July 22. Ford started 24 games this season, averaging 10.1 points, 8.7 rebounds, in 26.5 minutes per game.
