Force to Face Undefeated Wave

CLEVELAND, OHIO- The Cleveland Force will return to action this Sunday, November 3rd as it travels to Milwaukee, Wisconsin to face the undefeated Milwaukee Wave in a Major Indoor Soccer League Game at 2:05 p.m. in the Bradley Center.

Cleveland enters the game with the Wave looking to remain perfect against the MISL Western Conference, as they are currently 2-0 against Western Conference opponents after positing its second straight victory over the San Diego Sockers 15-4 last Friday.

The Force will look to snap two streaks on Sunday. Cleveland will not only attempt to hand Milwaukee its first home regular season loss but will try to end a five game losing streak in the Bradley Center. The last time the Force won in Milwaukee was on March 25th in the 1999-2000 season by a final score of 7-6.

The Wave comes into the game after posting victories over the Philadelphia KiXX and the Dallas Sidekicks 19-5 and 10-9 respectively last weekend. The Wave currently stands atop the MISL Western Conference and has the best record in the MISL with a mark of 6-0.

Milwaukee has won 26 straight regular season home games dating back to the 2000-01 season. The Wave, who went 22-0 last season at home in the regular season, are currently 2-0 at home this year. The last time the Wave has lost a regular season game was in the 2000-01 season when the Baltimore Blast defeated Milwaukee 22-16 on March 17, 2001. The Wave had a 26 consecutive home game winning streak snapped when the Philadelphia KiXX defeated Milwaukee in game three of the MISL Championship series.
