CLEVELAND, OHIO- The Cleveland Force will travel to Harrisburg, Pennsylvania this Saturday, December 7 to face the Harrisburg Heat in a Major Indoor Soccer League (MISL) Eastern Conference game at the Farm Show Arena. The game is scheduled to start at 7:35 p.m. The Force will look to defeat the Heat for the second time this season.
The game with the Heat will mark the second meeting of the season between the two franchises. Cleveland won the first meeting by a final score of 23-12. The impressive 23-point outburst marked a MISL season-high for points in a game.
Cleveland enters the game after defeating the San Diego Sockers 16-12 on Thursday morning in San Diego's School Day Game. The Force now has a record of 7-4 overall and have a 3-3 record versus Eastern Conference foes. Cleveland is 2.0 games out first place in the MISL Eastern Conference.
Harrisburg is currently in third place in the MISL Eastern Conference trailing Cleveland by 2.5 games for second place and 4.5 games behind the Philadelphia KiXX for first place. The Heat has a record of 5-7 overall and 2-4 in the MISL Eastern Conference after splitting two games last weekend. Harrisburg lost to Baltimore on Saturday in overtime 10-8 but defeated the San Diego Sockers 12-10 in overtime on Sunday
The Force will return to the friendly confines of the Convocation Center at Cleveland State University on Saturday, December 28th.
