Force Ready For Final Regular Season Homestand

CLEVELAND, OHIO- The Cleveland Force will be back in action on Friday, March 14 at the Convocation Center on the Campus of the Cleveland State University to host a Major Indoor Soccer League (MISL) Eastern Conference game. The Force will welcome the Philadelphia KiXX in the first of the final two regular season home games. Game time is set to begin at 7:35 p.m.

The game between Cleveland and Philadelphia will be the fifth of six meetings between these two franchises. The season series is deadlocked at 2 a piece. The Force is looking to continue its success against the KiXX on their home turf as Cleveland has won both of its games it hosted to Philadelphia. The last time these two squads met was back on January 24 as the Force knocked of the Eastern Conference leader by a score of 20-10.

Cleveland enters the game after winning its lone game last week before the All-Star break. The Force defeated the Dallas Sidekicks in the final regular season meeting between the two teams by a final score of 13-8. With the win, Cleveland posted its first road victory since December 14th when the Force defeated the Milwaukee Wave. Cleveland currently sits in second place in the Eastern Conference with a 16-16 record and holds a one game lead over the Baltimore Blast for the first round home playoff spot. The Force secured a playoff spot when the Harrisburg Heat fell to the Wave on March 5th.

Philadelphia enters the contest after dropping its lone game before the All-Star break. The KiXX fell to the Kansas City Comets by a final score of 26-6 in a School Day game at the Kemper Arena. Philadelphia, who has secured the Eastern Conference regular season title and a first round bye in the playoffs, has an overall record of 22-10.
