
Force Plays Last Game Before Break

CLEVELAND, OHIO- The Cleveland Force will play its final game before the Major Indoor Soccer League (MISL) All-Star Weekend when it travels to the Lone Star State for the final time of the season. The Force will take on the Dallas Sidekicks on Tuesday, March 4th at 8:05 p.m. from Reunion Arena.
The contest, which was originally scheduled for February 16th but due to inclement weather that did not allow the Sidekicks to travel back from Baltimore was postponed, will mark the fourth and final meeting between these two teams. Cleveland leads the season series 2-1, including winning the last two meetings. The Force won the last meeting in overtime by a final score of 10-8 at the Convocation Center at Cleveland State University on February 23rd.
Cleveland enters the game after dropping two games last weekend and now has a half game lead over the Baltimore Blast for second place in the MISL East as well as the final home playoff slot. The Force fell to the Blast 12-6 on Friday night and then fell to the MISL West Champion Milwaukee Wave on Saturday by a final score of 16-6.
Dallas comes into the game after dropping two games last weekend in overtime. Dallas fell to the Philadelphia KiXX 13-10 on Friday night and then to the Kansas City Comets by a final of 16-14 on Saturday night. With the two losses, the Sidekicks have been officially eliminated from post-season action.
